Got some recorded voice crapping on about a market research. On Do Not Call register so how come. Locked line for 15 minutes, could not make or receive calls

I got called up at 6:45 pm and when I answered it started with the automated message of a survey being conducted but they hung up in 5 seconds

I don't answer numbers I don't know and this one called at 6:50pm, so not even during office hours, so definite scam. Phone even came up with ID: Possible scam (lol) Immediate search on here showed what it was. Thank what ever powers that be that I didn't answer!

I keep getting calls from GetUp and they don't speak, Just hang up. Must be desperate for the Labor party to win.

Political survey. Politicians and charities are exempt from Do Not Call. This should not be allowed. I don't answer if I don't recognise the number and look it up on Reverse Number Look Up

They are trying to boost their voters by getting you onside by finding out what you like or dislike so they can promise you ice cream and lollies while keeping you busy, so they can steal all the money out of your pocket when you are not looking, and take everything in your house when your not at home.

No. not recognised so I let it go to voice mail. Pre-recorded message from my "local member" (why not state a name?) giving me 7 options to choose what's most important to me in the upcoming election. There are sure to be more of these for the next 3 weeks! I blocked the number.

Some pre-recorded rubbish about a local member. Hung up straight away. I am on the do not call register :(
