Blocked this number, thanks for the tips

i keep getting calls from this number (02) 8317 3198 also, and no one ever answers

These guys are ringing my mobile everyday - not leaving a message. When you try to call back - no answer.

they call and when I pick up it goes silent. Seems like a bunch of scammers to me

I just rec'd a call too from (02) 8317 3198 at approx 15:15pm in Sydney CBD on Mobile Phone. Checked the number out and found this site at the same time...Thanks all for posting.... :) .....

they ring several times a day when i answer it hangs up

I finally resorted to using a whistle after the 4th call. They'll either go deaf or get the message.

Have had this number call 7 times in one day..not funny when you you have a sick person in the house....

You could probably add to auto reject list so you don't even have to be bothered when they attempt to call you again

Received a call this morning. They said I asked them to call me because I signed up for them to call me and that they 'made a commitment to contact you when we had the best information'. I insisted they tell me how they got my number because that wasn't me. He told me he had my email too. He kept interrupting me trying talking about 'did you know how china is affecting the stock market today?' and sh*t like that. I cut him back off, demanded he take me off his call register immediately and got a little snarky with him, then he hung up immediately without saying anything.

Obviously have bought my details from some mailing list or something. Screw these guys.

Scam again

... been calling me couple times and do not respond when I take the call. Their numbers always return not in service.

Scammers/telemarketers I believe.

called again for the 9 millionth time this year . DRIVING ME CRAZY... Call your phone provider and demand they block the number and or affiliated numbers they have to if you report nuisance calls .
Unfortunately I lost my temper today and swore at them and hung up .... guess what they called straight back .
I think I will have to get a whistle .
