He rings all the time, checking on seniors health, trying to sell vitamins

I called back number (02) 8317 1220 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.

Caller: Seniors health ??

I get these call regularly, every couple of months from an Asian guy who knows my surname. He says he's from Seniors Health and asks questions, then trys to sell some pills .... it is a scam. I usually don't answer this number, but accidentality did it today, hence another report here !!

Caller: Scammer preying on the Eldery

Specifically targeting elderly people from a list as has surname. Then builds trust relationship to extracts personal details including first name and private health conditions.

Uses these familiarity details to engage with target on further calls, in which extracts more personal details and adopts sale tactics.

It is entirely possible these personal details are sold back to lists which will inact even more scam calls that can use familiarity tactics.

The inaction of national phone carriers allowing this to go on is criminal in itself!!

Called, no message left but brief sound of a call center in the background before hanging up.

Probably scammers or telemarketer, my phone said "unavailable number" this usually denotes a scammer call.
