Jason O'Connor's new ATO scam number

How Funny...Mark Brown, Officer identification number 469284 and phone number (02) 8317 1152 also called us at Gympie Qld.
We were supposed to call back as our house was under surveillance with the ATO and we needed to sort the matter out urgently. Hahaha.
"Mark Brown'' sounded more like he was calling from down town Mumbai!

Message on my phone asking me to call officer Mark Brown from the ATO (didn't sound like a 'Mark' at all) or charges could be laid against me and my property seized. Dodgy!!

I have a voicemail from this number saying that there was a full on attack from a member of my family who drives a Commodore (We don't own one). And the attack happened in all regions. The person wants one of us to call them back or we'll have our property seized...

Yes, but because I didn't answer the phone a recording was left on my message bank. How stupid, especially when it starts off with "Hi" and ends with "Have a nice day".
Worry about the vulnerable people out there, especially the elderly.

Had a msg on 30/10 asking me to call Mark Brown as a complaint has been made to the ato. Full scam!

ATO Scam

Jason O'Connor left a message on my machine saying there had been a complaint filed against me & that it was with regards to tax evasion & fraud & left that number to call back.

They keep calling. Say they are from the ATO. Owe them $9000. Have to pay or local Police will arrest me. Told him he was full of it so he hung up. Total scam. Don't even know my name.

He tried to call me when I said I will report it he said he will get 5 people and start calling my no day and night for nothing

After much harassment from my wife - ie calling every couple of minutes - Jason/Mark has now finally admitted that he's not from the ATO and that it's all a scam. Won't stop him being called over and over again. What a twat!

My wife has spent the last hour continually phoning "Mark Brown" and really pissing him off. Thanks to Reverse she's now taking the piss out of Jason O'Connor. As she is currently laid up in bed Mark/Jason are going to continue being phoned all afternoon and probably for most of tomorrow.

Had the same message today from Officer Mark Brown. Great to see its not just me. Reverse Australia, thank you!

Officer mark brown rang said unless i contact him on this number ,i will be arrested and all property will be seized. And something about the government

Mark Brown from special investigation unit called me he says there's a complaint against me..and wants to me to call this number it's a hoax..they need to be reported.

Mark Brown called my landline and told me to call him on this number..saying that he's from special investigation unit and that there's a complaint filed against me...this is a hoax..

Said he was Mark Brown from the ATO stating a legal case against me. Sounded like it was a recorded call from overseas. Not a good enough fake accent .... HOAX
