Just missed this call as I ran inside. Thanks for letting me know it was just "Nicole from Telstra".. I always wonder why Telstra doesn't do something about this annoying call. It gives them a bad name.

Caller: scammers A few years ago I used to get emails from scammers in the US selling university degrees and other dodgy stuff. I set up my email to redirect these dodgy emails to the US President and Vice President email addresses along with a message containing terrorist hot button words. The emails stopped within days and I haven't received any since. The phone number for the Australian Federal Communications Minister Mr Paul Fletcher is (02) 6277 7480 or (02) 9465 3950. If your phone is capable, redirect calls from this callers number to his phone number. If his offices get inundated by scam callers he might get off his arse, do his job and do something about these ratbags.

Caller: 'Nicole' 'Nicole' from the NBN has been calling us for at least two years with the same recorded threat to cut off our Internet. (We're in one of the first suburbs to be connected to the NBN so had it for about 3 years.) I've blocked at least 10 numbers the call comes from but have now given up as they only use the same number once or twice before it changes. The answering machine is not an option (clients and elderly relatives call from interstate) and If it does go through to the answering machine, I get the tail end of the spiel to erase. Now the calls are coming 3-4 times every day, worst yet!

They've tried ringing twice today in the last 30 mins but I refuse to answer and they don't leave a message. If only landlines had the option to block numbers!

Call dropped out as soon as answering machine activated. Almost certain it was the NBN disconnection hoax call mentioned previously.
We have been on the NBN for at least 2 years.

Recording claiming to be NBN. Pressed 1, received Anna, claiming to work for Telstra, when questioned She told me to SHUT UP, then hung up. Pity because I wanted to waste more of her time, as she was doing to me!

Recorded message from Nicole purportedly from the NBN, saying our line would soon be disconnected. We have the NBN, our line hasn't been disconnected.
