Buy yourselves a Call Guardian 301 phone for $59 on ebay (you get 2 handsets) and then let your virtual guardian answer the call and because they do not give a name the call will be terminated and you will not even hear the phone ring. It works brilliantly

Caller doing charity survey from Philippines for mycharitysurvey.com. I asked if they had an AUS contact, they said no, so I said I would not participate. The caller had my address, but would not say where they got my info. Another reason to end the call.

Call & hang up a few days in a row. Called number back (after blocking mine..) and answered recording identifying as by "MYCHARITYSURVEY" and provided web address.

i get this call regularly but they dont answer when i pick up--seems strange if you are a scammer.

Rang my work phone 6 times in a row , I answered on the 7th call and an Indian told me he was from Charity group doing a survey on a local Charity and it would take 5 minutes.He did not know the Charity just saying it was a local one.Told him I was at work and not to call again.He stated he will call back at a later time.DO NOT answer it is a SCAM.

Twice today, within half an hour...................

Called but didnt leave message - I tried to return the call but was first engaged then picked up no answer....still in operation apparently...

had this number call today saying they were from a survey company wanting to ask me questions about different companies that I might deal or purchase from turned out when I quizzed the caller it was a BLOODY SCAM.

Nuisance call. Added to my auto reject list.

I am constantly getting calls from this number. I agree 100% with Snett55. "GET A LIFE". No one is interested in what your selling or your fraudulant rants claiming people owe the ATO. If I get another call of this nature, you will certainly hear what I have to say abruptly!! Soooo F.fffff.....OFF.

You can buy numbers from almost anywhere in the world, that is why they look like local numbers but they can be on the other side of the world. I have purchased a number from Greece so family can call for the cost of a local call. Nothing illegal about doing this but for scammers, it's a real problem. I'm luck that my calls get screened though my modem ( VoIP only )and can be blocked. Records from my modem showed that one scammer tried 71 times to call before giving up but I only need the number once to stop them.

Surely The police can trace number it illegal to use carriage service for scam also my number on do not disturb this number has called before.

Rang my 81 year old mother threatening the same. Just what you need 3 days from discharge from hospital

Caller is from a company that claims to be only doing a survey to see if I am aware of certain charities. They then ask you if you know of the charities they mention, and if you ever considered supporting them. They then pass the info to the charity that you say yes to, and then they phone you seeking donations. I told the caller who was very very hard to understand that I was going to say no to every question he asked. He eventually got the message and hung up.
