ATO scam. Same as reported for other numbers. Saying I have a debt. Called them back and said I was from the AFP and THEY would be arrested in 30 mins! They hung up.

ATO Tax scam. American fella claims to be from the ATO or some CCDO organisation, tells of your misfortune of tax evasion and to get your laywer to call them immediately.

DO NOT CALL THEM BACK EITHER nor contact Bob Lob Law or Lionel Hutz to represent you as legal counsel. They'll use any info you provide down the track to slowly muster information about you.

Same as above. Left a message saying : A legal case filed against me. There is a warrant for my arrest ....
When I called the number (02) 8310 6709 there was no answer.

obviously a scam, purporting to be special investigations dept of Australia Tax Office and asking me to call the above number - when I checked caller id it said private number
