Kenneth Mathews from ATO for tax fraud

Have had the same calls on answering machines two days running

Same thing happened to me. I called the number back. Some guy answered it and I questioned what company it was ... His reply: "ATO", then the phone line went dead.

They are still at it... One of our clients (we are financial planners) received a message on their home phone from "Kenneth Matthews" from the ATO saying they had "defrauded the tax office" and wanted them to call back on this number.

Our clients are retired people who have not been in a tax paying position for several years - it struck fear into them. It would be good to track down these people and call them to order...
