Didn’t answer and called back, it was animal protection company. I read these and have no idea how they got my number? Scamming is huge nowadays I don’t trust anybody!

Most likely scam as this number was owned by the RSPCA donations team roughly 5 years ago but is no longer in use by them who I was in constant contact with at the time and had the number saved to my phone.
Makes me wonder if the RSPCA sold the number and list of names along with it for an extra buck.

oh, they call me every day.
Now I will never sign anything.
And be careful with pop-ups on your computer.
I couldn't remove one such annoying window
and filled out the form they asked for.

Then my credit card money was stolen.

I just received a call from this number about donating weekly for animal protection after signing a facebook petition. I asked if they could please send me an email or equivalent so that I can look further into it and they said that for 'privacy reasons' that can't be done. I said that I would look at their website etc first and the caller insisted multiple times that I should just pay over the phone now since the 'animals need my help'. Glad I stuck to my gut and didn't give in. Their number only comes up in scams when googled.

This number keeps ringing my 12yr old daughter and the persistent nature of it has been freaking her our. I've blocked the number but this kind of marketing, if legitimate, is unconscionable.

Did answer and didn’t call back but if it’s who everyone else says, I don’t know why they are ringing me as I’ve never associated my self with them in any way.

I missed the call so I don't know who it was from, they didn't leave a message and i didn't call the number back.

I'm so over this number calling me everyday and not leaving a message. My phone identifies it as potential scams/fraud so I never answer it. But I think it could be Virgin Money calling with yet another deal I don't want.

I’m unsure if it’s scam or the real deal, but I know they got my number after I signed a FB petition with World Animal Protection. I told the caller I’d rather donate online, after the caller tried to convince me to do a payment plan over the phone. I found them to be very pushy, but didn’t think much of it. Then a week later, I’m being called every day by them. I feel pretty uncomfortable about it, so I blocked the number. I think I’ll just donate a one off online and never sign another FB petition.

Said they were world animal protection and wanting me to making monthly donations. I asked how they got my number and she said and I quote “it doesn’t actually have written down how, maybe a survey, you might’ve given us money already or you liked us on Facebook”. I asked the lady if I can make donations online she said no. Funnily, i then hung up, googled World Animal Protection did a little researching and you’re able to donate online. She was asking for credit card details. SCAM!
