care flight, if you entered a facebook comp/quiz about 1st aid for a bear. now they bombard you with calls for donations. blocked 2 numbers now, other number is (02) 8917 0011

I originally signed up for the 'free bear' deal, but unless they send a proper email to provide donations to, it's a block from me.
They're a not-for-profit, but you might want to avoid the call if you're preferring not to be spammed via phone (which I don't).

Caller: They said it was careflight

I did enter a Careflight competition on Facebook, they called and said they would be asking for any payment today so I let them go on with the spiel. I was happy to help Careflight but thwy insisted that the only way I could pay was by giving my CCard details over the phone - something I will not do. I asked if I could pay online and they said no.
They then gave me another phone number to call and some verification numbers for me to prove they are genuine, I agreed, and they were going to call me back.
I didn't call their verification number but instead went directly to the careflight website and found that I could indeed pay online from there. When the person called me back I told her that I could in fact pay online. She said oh ok and hung up.

I think this could be a scam so will report it

so over it, these loony's just keep calling without any let up. It is aparentelly Careflight. if this is the way they wish to conduct business they can insert their "free" helicopter trip where the sun dont shine

They're still at it - I received a call today 15/6/20 and they hung up immediately.

Caller: houso sounding female gronk

Claiming to be from Careflight.! Ranting on about what wonderful work and technology they are providing to the public. When asked to send the details to my email address, the houso gronk choked and couldnt because they dont have an email address available.! NICE TRY, FAIL, f*ck OFF..!

This number came up as a spam call notification on my phone, blocked and deleted.

They left a message saying hello and my name, thats it. I did sign a petition on FB to keep them in business but maybe that was a mistake. Think I will be blocking this number.

This number rings me non stop, all hours of the day/evening.

the call centre people make commission for a sale, thats why she told you that you can't donate online

signed the petition to help keeping care flight in my area (rural NSW) and now im getting randomly called from them. rings a couple of times and hangs up. no messages left. think they are calling to collect donos to keep the flights going. reported as spam.

Caller identified as Careflight. Small donation made and recorded as Careflight on bank statement - appears valid.

One ring then hung up.
