This is Telstra.
Their call centre uses a shared outgoing caller ID number. in this case, the 02 number listed here. When you call back, it should direct you back to the general 132200 call centre.

I reported a phone fault, for a neighbour, to Telstra. they said they'd fix the problem. I gave them my mobile as I was about to leave the house. I rec'd a call from supposedly Telstra who had all the details. when I apologised for being abrupt due to frequent fake Telstra calls and that I checked all calls on Reverseaustralia site he abruptly hung up. Obviously these criminals have access to Telstra calls. Why can't something be done to shut these criminals down. Who can we report it too?

IS OKAY -This is Telstra, not a spam or Con. I had trouble with a PC late last night and I spoke to Ryan (Indian but well spoken English). He rang the next night about 7pm ...The phone conversation did drop out a few seconds into the call... But Ryan the Tech rang back again and apologised for the dropout. I asked him why he rang so late and he said that some of the Tech's work late shift up to about 11pm.

I received a call from this number claiming to be from Telstra and asking me to provide my personal details to confirm my identity. I refused to give my details to someone that has called me and won't tell me what the call is about. If it is from Telstra that is poor form.

I returned a miss call. They said it was Telstra responding to my complaint. I didn't have a complaint. They asked if I had rung about an internet fault; why would I when my internet is with Optus? The message they left on my service was to thank me for being a Telstra customer and ensure I was happy with their products. Since when have Telstra cared about their customers? Yes the accent was Filipino.

It's definitely Telstra. They can't leave a message because the case manager has to call you personally. They are calling due to line faults, account payments or other problems. It's best to answer the call and see what they want.

This is strange... I also phoned Telstra's helpline 1800 112 447 (to report a fault with my MessageBank) and ever since then I have been receiving calls from this number. I tried to call them back. Guess what I got? Recorded music!!!!

I have been getting missed calls all day, then a message advising my partner to contact Telstra immediately, strange how they new his name when this phone is not in his name, he used it as a contact number when reporting a fault on his landline. Phoning telstra they advised that this number has nothing to do with them and they couldn't tell me whose it was as it was blocked. Very strange!!

This number rang me in response to a call I instigated with Telstra (125111) but I hung up on Telstra because a very long delay as the OS lady tried to transfer me to a "tech support" person. I think Telstra are not being very helpful by denying that (02) 8302 6100 belongs to themselves ... "what a way to pass the buck"

I had a answering machine message from this number telling my partner she wanted to ask him a question about our Tbox, after reading all these messages I can agree she sounded Philippino as I had to replay the MSG about 5 times to figure out what she said. I now believe this is a scam of some sort and I won't be returning their call

after two ring-and-hangup-before-answer calls today, we called Telstra and was put thru to the Unwelcome Calls Dept on 1800 805 996. The block for that number is now in place, and we can have up to 15 blocks in place free of charge

After reporting a phone problem to Telstra, within an hour, I had a brief ring from this number which was therefore not answerable and which prompted a Telstra unanswered call text message. This seems to be a similar unusual problem others have had. There appears to be a problem with Telstra security.

to the dude who is concerned about his wife's fidelity, can I have her number please? To the others, I have had 87 calls from this number in the last 2 weeks. as it is a group access number it could be anyone. Tell them to take a hike, tell Telstra tech to get a new number and then we will all be able to stress about something else. Best not answer if you have doubts. Need a thing for "call type' idiot
