I missed a call from this number (02) 8302 6100. 30 minutes later I got an email from Telstra about my account. One problem - I DON'T HAVE A TELSTRA CONNECTION OF ANY TYPE!!! I therefore would not trust phone calls from the "Telstra" number unless you believe in coincidences.

Caller: Telstra I received a call from a Philippine sounding person regarding an attempt from a person trying to access my account. When I asked this so called Telstra Customer Support person what my name is they answered with another name, this is a red flag and I hung up immediately I was abroad at the time this call was answered and I had been charged overseas roaming charges by Telstra.

Caller: (02) 8302 6100 - Alyssa This is a Telstra phillipines contracted call centre, they pay for a local number to the state or area in australia they call, it is futile to lodge complaints as this call centre as advised to me will never forward complaints to telstra australia or any of its management as they are contracted to deal with the rubbish they cause through us consumers. Telstra Australia is utterly useless

A single ring from this number and then hangs up before you can answer. Very annoying when it happens several times in a row. You just sit down and it rings again but then hangs up before you can answer. If this is Telstra they aren't being very professional.

Caller: Telstra I reported a damaged Telstra pit cover Sunday afternoon on the Telstra website and Monday morning I got a call from this number saying that a technician will be out in the next day to resolve the problem.

Caller: Telstra Service Legitimate call... sort of. I have my cell phone set to 6 rings... it is VERY consistent. They called and let it ring three(3) times... and hung up as I answered - I could hear the call center noise in the background. Followed up with a message saying I was not available and to call back. Seriously?

Caller: "Telstra Complains Department", Bollucks, Female from the Phillipines asked for my wife by name (on my number!) I said she is not available Why and when did she make the complaint? "yesterday" Bingo! My wife is interstate and we are no longer with Telstra IDIOTS! Said my wife was unavailable and to call me back tomorrow after 10:00 (I cannot wait) I will take the call and say OH yes my wife is outside I'll just go and get her. Leave the phone in another room Then leave them hanging they will eventually hang up having wasted time and not been bothering somebody else I will then block the number! Ha ha ha!

Had a call but didn't answer given I didn't know the number. They ended up leaving a message saying it was Telstra checking to see if our service was working and that they'd call back in a few hours since no on answered. We did have some service problems about six weeks ago, but all that was sorted and we already had someone from Telstra confirm everything was working at the time. Not sure whether or not it's a legit check up to see if things are still working.

The most un organised and who gives a f**k people i had to deal with. This company makes millions of dollars from taking advantage of australian customers that rely on their long established name and yet they treat australians like dumb ass's. Their automated system is an example of who gives a f***k. Do we pay those expensive prices they ask just to wait on the god damn line and then after a long time time waiting if you're lucky someone answers the phone call or you simply you hang up when no one bothers to pick up. F**K you telstra get professionals not kids to do your work.

called and hung up i called back stated they were ringing to see if i was interested in checking my insurances and would i like an insurance line agent to call me - so i dont know why its saying here on other comments its telstra ???

This number is legit Telstra. After phoning Telstra re an outage early in the week, the woman I spoke to then just rang me on the number to check that the phones were working again.
