Yes did just recieve a call from (02) 8294 9284 and I called them back to an engagement sound..tried twice with no answer..🤑🤑😆😆😆

Gave my details for a free forex trading course 'Learn To Trade' a while ago which I didn't attend because the reviews seemed dodgy. Confirms the dodgy-ness if they are utilising an overseas call centre to connect with people months after the fact for something that was supposed to be based in Sydney.

A call from Sydney? I'm in the Philippines and not expecting a call from there. This is a scam. Beware guyz.

I answered the call within 2 rings and there was just silence at the other end. I hung up after 10 seconds and blocked them. Someone meantioned Learn to Trade but their number is quite different.

This number is just another pest dont know why telcos let these scammers have numbers that you cant ring back. I just keep blocking them.

Called I answered and they hung up. I reported and blocked the number, not dumb enough to call back which is what they probably want you to do.

This is number called me a number of times. It is 02 NSW so I returned call a number of time. given that It is a local number if your RSP charged you more than a 25c local call. can challenge them. I blocked this number and reported it. Hope the law enforcer will tag and trace the source of this number

This number is listed in Taipei Taiwan sites call866.com - unusual. MY EXPERIENCE AND ADVICE SO THIS NUMBER (02) 8294 9284 called me didn't speak i hung up after 10 seconds and found this ad other reverse number sites. My guess is HANG UP AND DON'T CALL BACK and if happens more than once BLOCK IT - WHY? I THINK THE INTENT IS TO TRICK YOU IT CALLING BACK AND MAKING MONEY OFF YOU. I have on occasions receive calls from Africa which I KNOW is a scam to get you to call back on their number in Africa and MAKE MONEY OFF YOUR AUSTRALIAN MOBILE PHONE BILL. The exposed African scam resides from countries with Intn'l codes +216 +212 +224 +257 +23 etc. They rent/control from local exchange and tricking you to call back. Due to international treaties they can charge your service provider in Australia MORE than they rent their exchange lines (your loss and their profit). Maybe they can spoof a number on our exchange - i don't know. SO I'm GUESSING (02) 8294 9284 and numbers like it MIGHT be designed to trick you into calling back and paying a fee.
