asked if our motel rooms have windows and asked the square meterage of each room. When called back it was an Asian voice recording

Got woken up at 3am by a phone call from this number. I said it’s 3am and why are you calling at this time? He was put off guard and said “I don’t speak English” and hung up. I think calling from China. SCAM!!!

call quality was bad but the reason was legitimate. I have a quarantine hotel needing extra info.

Sounds like online travel agent looking for a listing - best advice - hang up!!

Ask about the business name & if had changed, then hung up. Probably phishing scam

This is Trip.com's new number. If you listen to the voice recording when you call back after the mandarin is finished it will prompt you to press 9 for more languages. After pressing 9 it says "Welcome to Trip.com..."

Said they were calling us back but we never called them. Also asked questions about the accommodation but didn't state if they were an agency or not.
