Replying to text message askiung me to call this number failed. When called, it was not in Sydney but in the Philippines. I did not have an outstanding dispute so far as I knew.

Caller: Citibank transaction disputes I did have a transaction dispute with an anti-virus company who used expired credit card details to help themselves to a hundred and fifty bucks without my authorisation. Citibank stepped in and I got my money back. This was all legit.

Someone tried to charge $200 to my credit card. The transaction was unsuccessful due to them not having access to the two factor ID (the PIN sent to my phone). Straight away, I had the card cancelled. Later the same day, I received an international call that I did not answer. The next day, today, I received a call from this number. When I called back, a person with an accent in a noisy location immediately launched in to wanting my credit card number, PIN, dispute number. I asked him what he could see on his screen, since he seemed 'ready to.do business' immediately on answering my call. Dodgy as all get up. I hung up. Was not called back.

Genuine call from Qantas Money regarding a dispute I had lodged. Not sure why people are commenting stating it is a scam number(?).

Caller: Scammers posing as bank Scammers - do not trust.
The positive reviews below are likely to be the scammers hoping to trick you into accepting their calls.
They will say they are from your bank or credit card (and may possibly have your name and credit card number) and that there has been suspicious activity on your account. They will then “prove” it by sending you a text message from your bank with a number to read out - DO NOT DO THIS!
This is a one-time pin generated by your bank to authorise when you do a large online shop - if you read it aloud, they will immediately enter the number and your card will be charged.
I have also received very muffled voicemails from the number with the only clear part saying it’s my bank. When I have spoken to my bank (using the number on the back of my card), they have said there are no records of them trying to contact me. The scammers hope you will listen to the voicemail and then answer the call the next time so they can scam you.
If you receive any call from your bank, immediately tell them you will call them back using the number on your card. Do not let them coerce you into using any other number or reading aloud any text.

Card hacked, have a dispute with bank. However very suspicious, possible re-routing of number to look genuine - be careful text message made no sense. Look comment re- Philippines and consider re-routing scam. Will contact bank department dealing with issue.

Caller: Roxy - said she was from Citibank Called re my Qantas mastercard, the card has already been cancelled by Qantas and they (Qantas) said they were looking into transactions not authorised by me. Ok...proceed with caution! I called the number back, was answered with no identification on who you were calling. Male identified himself with next statement...pls provide your credit card details, so we can access your dispute complaint. Hhmmmm, not being that silly, I then started to question who they were?? Suddenly no response, line went quiet.....
