They say they are Kids Cancer Relief, but when I rang their info line 1300 334 092) the lady admitted they are a telemarketing company calling to raise money for Kids Cancer Relief.

I thought the whole Do Not Call register was supposed to stop telemarketers calling me for whatever reason. I hate the loophole that charities and political surveys are allowed to still call me. this is clearly a commercial company calling to ask for money of which they take their cut.

If I want to donate, I will donate when I want to. I will never donate when someone calls me asking for money. If you do, the calls will never stop.

I wish the DO NOT CALL register would stop anyone who calls that I don't want to talk to. Not only does it waste my time, but they will never get me to donate, or answer surveys, so it wastes their time too.

This number has called a few times and I don't answer as they aren't in my address book so I figure it can't be anyone I know. I am on the do not call register and my home phone is a private number. How do they still get to call me?! And anyway if someone calls me wanting a donation over the phone there is no way I am going to provide my bank account details to a complete stranger. I'd rather be safe than sorry. If I want to give to charity I will seek THEM out - not the other way around.

I no longer support any charity that rings by phone, had one ring yesterday and left a abusive message on the answering machine that I no longer supported them, so now I will no longer support any of them by phone.

I donate directly to the kids cancer site. A friend said if you donate thru collectors the charity only gets about 20c in the dollar. they may also get paid by the number of calls they make, this might explain the ringing and hanging up?

calling home number incessantly even after asking them to stop as I need the home phone available 24/7. Blocked number on mobile. Pity as it's such an important charity, but it must work ! I'm also on the do not call register and have found it makes no difference. Just love being able to google the number and block them on my mobile.

They call me then as soon as I answer - hang up - GREAT way to annoy me and NO because you keep doing it several times a day, I will NOT give to your charity.
