If you answer the call there is a short delay and then it plays an audio advertisement such as "Paying too much for your electricity?" etc. I have received calls from the 2 numbers Sandra mentioned back to back. It's likely that they are related. If you let the call go to Answering Machine no message is left.

I've had a gutful of these calls, it's an absolute disgrace.

This is a damned disgrace and a farce. I have a private number and this number has called me more than 3 times. Seems like a political call to me, and when you call back recorded message. Typical Govt, wasting more of taxpayers money for no good reason

Sick of this number repeatedly calling me daily. No response when you answer. When you call back, automated message. Even tried calling the mobile number they leave on the message and have requested on their voicemail to be removed from their call list, to no avail. Surely there is some way we can have them disconnected for harrasment. Sick of it.

i get a call from this number at least twice a day. it's getting beyond ridiculous.

I have been receiving calls during the day from this number, but no messages left (have also received calls from (02) 8282 2288 which seem to be from a sales service, so wonder if they are linked?)
