Complete shonks. The number no longer connects. They say that fools and their money are soon parted and I was one. They provided a horse racing tipping service that was fatally flawed and never took into account a horse's performances on rain affected tracks. After complaint, I received a letter from their Senior Compliance Officer saying that my claims would be fully investigated. Never heard from them again. Their website has been taken down. I wish I had seen this page a month ago!

Also had numerous calls from this alleged "end of day share trading" software company. Even worse than the comment above, the company isn't registered as a company in Australia (despite quoting an Australian ABN on the letter head). The ultimate sales pitch was that if you don't like what we send you in the post the bank will just reverse your transaction - no risk! Interesting, you can't view the software, trial it for a period, anything. Just pay $14K and the CDs will turn up in the post.
Next trip to Sydney I'll see what's at Level 7 and 12 Blight Street.

I got the call and actually paid them 5k, the rest of the 15k was to come out of trading profits. They are in insolvency now.

Call from Comprehensive Equity Options - binary options scam. They offer you some information on their investment software and send you a glossy brochure in the mail, with the promise of high returns using their predictive trading software. Don't take them up on this offer because they will pester you non-stop with phone calls and use persuasive sales tactics to try and get you to sign up. They ask for a one-off ridiculous $14k licensing fee for their software. Searched the ASIC register and they do not have an Australian Financial Services (AFS) License, which they require by law.
