Caller: SCAM - Thomas - Woolworths Credit Card Services.

Stating that my Woolworths Credit Card ending in XXXX had been used for transactions including ebay for certain amounts. Told him I would call him back via Woolworths Contact Numbers only to find out that no one had called me however unauthorised transactions have since been attempted. They were obviously trying to alert me to these amounts so that I was under the belief that they were already being investigated.

Caller: Said they were from Woolworths Credit Cards

Told me my card had been compromised
When I logged in to my account I could not see the pending transactions mentioned and he said they had stopped them before they hit my account
Asked some more questions regarding any scam sms I may have received
Then said they would cancel my card ending in 6791
Sorry mate that card was cancelled 6 months ago due to fraud
Funny- he hung up….
