I was called by this number after having problems with my nbn, it's a phishing scam! I rang Telstra's 24 hour suspicious call hotline and they confirmed it. I am not going to take any more calls from anyone claiming to be from Telstra, if I need something I will call them.

Apparently this is Telstra, called to confirm my NBN was installed properly yesterday. I believe though this is still a scammer as I already had a legit phone call from Telstra immediately after my NBN was installed. Seems like Telstra is selling their information to third parties...

I believe this may be a scam call as the caller asked to log in to my computer to rectify ünusual occurences they had identified. The caller hung up when I refused.

This number called on the same day that I had phoned for NBN support. He just swears at me and hangs up. I received another call today and he makes death threats.

Hmm .. after reading the comments above a common thread seems to be that people have had dealings with Telstra re nbn. I won't reply. I am suspicious that Telstra do sell numbers to third parties, otherwise, other than using random number dialing, how do these pests/scammers get mobile numbers??

Dont go near the NBN, dont go to Telstra Shops, dont go to Telstra. Pathetic customer service, put sales before service, still dont have internet after a week and no one is interested, particularly the Telstra shop rep who sold me the bundle, but now has nothing to do with it, hand ball to Telstra.

Didn't answer the call but voicemail msg makes it seem okay. Had some issues with my NBN, this appeared to be a follow-up call after a technician came out to check my connection.

Rang in the middle of the night - a couple of rings then stopped before I could answer. I am a Telstra customer and have spoken to them recently regarding tech service for our NBN. So may be something there.
