Caller: (02) 8264 7916 Why do we even bother with the "Do not call" register. Another Government failure. I phoned Telstra complaints about these unwanted calls and was answered by a person that could barely speak English. I don't answer these calls because I have an answer machine to pick-up any important messages. I always check on the unanswered number.

Caller: indian solar panel schemer asked "is this Mrs >>>>>" I replied who is this... said - Sanjay, just letting you know about the Aust Govt Solar rebate. Hung Up
Indian accent, chatter in background ... the usual format. DNC does what it can but the GOVERNMENT needs to tighten up the loopholes which enable these vultures to operate. You can block on mobiles, but the NBN phones do not allow blocking of numbers. POOR planning NBN

Caller: (02) 8264 7916 How can we have confidence in this government if our beefed up AFP and huge Border Force (to stop the boats!) if they can’t secure the ‘do not call’ register and stop these scamming pests? Answering service stops them getting through but they don’t give up. Every day between 11.30 - 4 they keep trying. 🤬

Caller: Scam Indians pretending to be in Australia masking themselves with a local number. Telstra should do something about these thieves but of course, they say they are powerless. In other words, they really don't care about their customers - they just want their money.

I’m sick to death of these calls. I said if you don’t stop calling me I will blast a horn down the line. Stop now. Hung up without any answer. Let’s see what happens tomorrow!

Hung up when we picked up the phone. Why can't out tech savvy goverment block this stuff. Maybe they should threaten to block ALL call s from India until the Indian government takes measures to prosecute these thieves.
