Sounded like an Asian accent and would not respond after trying to talk with familiarity

Asked if I was the home owner. I said who are you and he asked if I had the manners to talk properly. I said no and hung up. ( Solar pests ).

This number calls several times a day but never leaves a message. I'm on the do not call register so I assume it's a scam.

anyone have any idea what they are after - i just answered a call the same wanting info re solar...i gave them very little but he knew a lot already. What are they after...clearly not solar...he said a local solar rep would ring again tomorrow..bet he does'nt!

On do not call register. waste of time. this number rings during the day trying to flog solar panels. over it.

Re Do you have solar panels on your roof? Very heavy Indian accent. I normally ignore numbers that I don't know. This time I had just come home from hospital and was asleep. Just answered the phone.
When I said ' Do you know this phone call is illegal the phone was slammed down.
We also have a silent line and are on the 'Do Not Call register.'

Kept calling about government rebates for solar and wanted someone to come tomorrow. Said in the end I wasnt interested after 2 calls. Strong Indian accent. Knew all my details. A worry!

3 to 4 calls daily at home and lately at the Op-Shop where I volunteer. Caller does not speak when call answered and hangs up after a few seconds. DNC Register is another wasted service, so do not bother registering with them. Annoying.

he called me heavy indian accent. when i tried to talk to him to say I am not interested he kept talking over me so I yelled stop talking over me and he stopped then said you talk over me you stupid women then hung up then continued to call back I tried to call back to complain and the number was disconnected.

I have on my phone a gadget called CPR Callblocker V-5000. Google it. They work in Oz if you have caller ID activated. I've blocked all instances of 028XXXX XXXX numbers and 08 XXXX XXXX as well as overseas private caller numbers. I have told my alarm monitor to call my mobile number as they are the only 028 number I deal with. As a business, I'm not allowed on that useless DNC register. You can block other callers in real time by pressing the big red block now button. Stores up to 5000 numbers. Worth the 80 bucks I spent on it

I rang this number to hear that I was disconnected. So, Telstra/Optus whoever, how can a call be made from a disconnected number. About time the telcos got their act together and did something about this.
