I rang red energy as I deal with them they said noting is listed for me at all I think it is a scam

yes they are elderly abusers and must be reported to police

They left message regarding exchanging my metre, but I rang my energy company they had nothing on records and they even checked last years messages and nothing, so yes I think its a scam

3rd call - asking to install a smart meter. Was rude when I said no (I do not own the house), then demanded I contact the "strata" to get approval. I gave her realestate info, then she just hung up on me

Are you sure it’s not a scam? I got the same call and I rang energy Australia to check and they told me to ignore them

rude on the phone asking for my authority to change power to a digital meter tomorrow. hang up on me when I started digging up their company details etc

mumbled voice message left on phone demanding i call a number and choose an option when i do. bugger that. could be totally legit but feels super scammy and rude

Origin Energy. Legit. Even though they don't identify themselves as Origin Energy or explain themselves at all before asking for your name and address, it is legit.
