(02) 8207 9584 is no longer Engin. This is an autodialler calling to validate active numbers for use by other Scam calling systems. If you pick it up, it is a heavily accented person. It never answers if you call it back. I received a call from a known Scammer Number (02) 9099 5787 shortly after I was called from (02) 8207 9584.

Heavy accent saying from Vodafone and iPhone offer. Said why will I want to upgrade when I just have... said will give me an iPhone plus then, but when I asked why, he hung up...

The government should be doing their job and hunting this scum down and deporting them.

Yep, Same thing, I don't know where they got my number. I usually don't answer numbers that I don't recognise but twice I've been called from an indian trying to offer me an iphone in obviously unprofessional manner and when I've said I'm not interested they hung up on me. It's definitely not vodafone, don't answer!

Guy rang today, strong indian accent, said he was from vodafone offering a free iphone, i said i didnt understand why he was asking me that, and he then asked if i had other people who would want an iphone or to sign up on a plan. i said it wasnt very professional way for vodafone to operate, he mumbled and said he was from sales, at that point i hung up.

I don't appreciate being called - my number is NOT public. I work in field where when my phone rings it causes problems . STOP CALLING ME, what action can i take to ensure they get terminated ???? NOT HAPPY JAN.

Claimed to be calling from Vodafone offering a handset upgrade. When I said "if you're really calling from Vodafone you can email me the information" and the "lady" swore and terminated call.

I have now blocked 3 different numbers from these scammers.

Me too- 5 times over a month long period. When I asked for the information to be emailed to me with terms and conditions they hung up on me. That is when they have actually spoken at all.

Heavy Indian accent claiming to be from Vodafone offering iPhone and smart phone. No identification and when I asked, he panicked and hung up. Get an effing life instead of trying to cheat others. Unscrupulous idiot - eat sh*t, die and rot in hell.

No response when I answered. After a few seconds there was a beep and then an automated response saying goodbye.

They rang and said they're going to kill my family. I don't know these people. Why ?

Vodaphone scam offer of free I phone upgrade then wanted the pin number to my account when I said no he hung up, SCAMMY SCAMMER

Seriously a scam. Pls beware.
I was stuck in such a way that I had to report a police complaint against them.

Claims to be from Vodafone. Offered me a free phone only months into my current contract, for a phone I already have. Heavy accent. Poor call quality.

Scam. Claimed to be from vodafone than hung up when I said I was already with them.
