Is also a McQuarie Card Call Centre for overdrawn or missed repayments.

It's Sykes Australia. It's a call centre for several businesses, including Westpac.

Take it from someone who works for the telephone company and who has traced the numbers that this is an outsourced call centre which actually has several clients. It is not simply Telstra, Optus, Jetstar etc...it could be any one of them or someone.

I called back number (02) 8198 6900 just kept on ringing no one answered the call and never got any voice mail.

I have call from this number it say "hey are you Mr. G*****" i say "no" and then it hang up. Mister very rude to me. I dont like it.

I am very angry at the way these telemarketers can keep harassing people in this way. Sooner or later you will be caught and stopped.

I have a tendency to rant and rave because I am a telemarketer protecting my job. I wish I had a real job but once they see my resume and they see I am a telemarketer I am showed the door. Poor me.

I've added this number to the numbers which go straight to my voicemail. Thanks for all the feedback.

I got a call from this number today at 1.10pm....no idea who it is

obviously this '123456789' person works for this 'international', UNNAMED company, or has some kind of affiliation to it. otherwise, what kind of idiot would defend an 'internationally recognised company' who needs to get random people's details? and if this company is legit, then why would they have an outbound number that you can't call back. either you're really naive, or you have something to do with this number. If it's the former, then sorry, but you're just dumb; if it's the latter, then tell your people to stop calling me! it IS harrassment, and with this many complaints, it CAN be taken to the police. I'm going to trace this number and take it to the federal police myself.

Its a company called Sykes who represent all banks and insurance companies.  Have them put you on their DNC (do not call) list for future calls.

Hi - i also have been receiving calls from this number. I am living overseas at the moment and dont ep my phone on me all the time, but i am getting at least three missed calls from this number (which costs me money as they leave a blank voicemail and its international roaming). When i try to call it back, it rings twice and then a voice over comes on "this number has been disconnected blah blah"...
Im seriously over it.
Without a doub t this is harrassment and i'v had enough...but unfortunately i dont know what to do ...its incredibly frustrating...If anyone has any advice on what to do ???

He knew the name of a bank account of mine and that my statements had been sent to my home address.

I gave no info and called them back - caller ID - I was very angry about someone in another state knowing so much about me. I have a great banker in MELBOURNE! (As they know)

I got a female when I called back - I didn't bother getting names - their all the same rat.

I reported the facts to my bank. they were also sursprised! This is now under investigation. I want them to know that I will deal with this under the Privacy Act.

In this country we should all respect this act.

Whoever 02-8198-6900 is; will stop this or they will have very expensive days in court.

No one else is allowed my account names and numbers unless I say so.

Enough of this sleeeezy crap. Enough of people and  companies not respecting our rights.

Its a company that says they are optus asking to change to a new plan. they take a long time to answer back like 10 seconds real unprofessional.I tell them to leave me alone but they still call. Philipino and Indians. One of them kept calling me repeatedly for 5 minutes because i told him to get lost.I really hate optus for using them or having anything to do with them. Makes me hate them. Any1 who says this company isnt fradualent must work for them,.
