I also get called from this number everyday if I answer it disconnects & if I call it says the number is disconnected. Someone told me it could be a scam so keep an eye on your phone bill. I hope it's not the case.

Yeah I have had 6 calls from the number as well. just block it on your phone and forget about it.

Further to my last post I found the following link, I think all this is saying though is it sounds link a generic number maybe that VOIP providers use for outgoing calls, so really it could be multiple customers using the same company for VOIP, even if this is a system outage fault notice.

Calls will still route correctly, and audio is still correct, however, an incorrect caller id is shown.
UPDATE 2009-05-11 11:00: We are continuing to investigate this issue, and have escalated the case through our upstream provider.

I got a call today a few minutes ago, felt it strange to get a call from an unknown number, because my number is private and only new, so only friends and a few businesses have it. The phone only rand about 3 times, to quick before I could get to it or the answering machine could answer.After reading this I won't try calling back, or answering in future, prob some telemarketing computer checking which numbers are active, and also what times of day people answer so their reps know when to call and catch someone at home.

Ring up your phone provider and get a trace put on your line, make note of the time of the calls from then on and after 3 hits, the provider will take action.
