Just hang up ... why bother about blocking

how does this scam supposed to work anyway they just crap on about electricity or something ? what do they want? its bluddy weird

Are you sure the 'Block' didn't work? Or you've received phone calls from a very similar number but with a single digit change. I've found that 'Blocking' works but you just have to do it multiple times to different numbers before they run out of telephone lines to call you from.

was trying to take my details,fraud,stupid,A**hole. scam whatever u can call them .

I never answer “unknown” numbers figuring if important will leave message. I then rang back using
Prefix #31# (so apparently my number can’t be identified) but got message number doesn’t exist. Tried again with international number 61 then 02 area code & got message bank of Asian women stating her name was “Rebecca of FY team” ????? & to leave message. Uh uh not on your nelly. Have now blocked number as spam.

I too keep getting a phone call from this number, and I never answer it. What I don't understand is, why does it keep ringing when I have blocked it? Isn't the reason why we have 'Block ' on our phone so that to stop annoying calls like this? How is that they still can phone me though blocked? It really defeats the purpose of having the option to block if it's not going to work. .Anyways, I have never spoken to them or answered any of their phone calls, but since I read here that many have the same situation.. there isn't a need for me to even answer the calls..

I blocked thew number early on but they rang 15 times in 2 weeks then they finally stopped

This number has been calling my mobile and office numbers. Just wondering where did they get my number. I blocked the number already but still gets through. So annoying!

Caller ID displayed number as (02) 8104 1060. Caller delay in answering then spoke in language other than English (Hindi ?). Audible background chatter. Suspect number is an Overseas Call Centre routed through Australian number. Google search for this number shows Telemarketer with no positive results.

If you put the number on your auto Reject List, it will still show you that they tried to call you, even though it didn't ring.

Multiple calls during the week. SCAM caller

It came up with Liverpool didn't answer though so over these types of phone calls

Asked for a specific name, I said I was their daughter. They hung up.

Just keeps calling and hanging up.
Bloody annoying.

How do these people continue to get through when the number is blocked. Always comes up as missed call even though my phone hasn't rang!! Rediculous!!
