These telemarketers get their directions from an Insurance company, the best way to stop them is to find which company they were directed by, and post their name, call the company and speak to someone of authority, and announce your intentions to post the details of how, they have disrupted your life by having telemarketers harass, and invade your privacy, they will stop!! If we all take steps to disclose these companies, and stop their lazy way of prospecting clients, the telemarketers won't have a job and we won't have to have to disturbed by them!!

Unless I recognise the number I don't even answer my mobile now. If it's important they'll leave a message, which scammers never do. And when I'll check this site, it's nearly always a scam, so block the number. So, my sympathy to all of you who do end up talking to these wankers, and thanks for posting such helpful comments.

They call me about 5 times per day and wont remove me from their no call list. Most of the time I answer they hang up on me and I have since blocked the number.

With a thick accent claimed to be Adam Smith from Telstra calling to renew my registration on the DNCR. Reassuringly informed me that the call was being recorded for training purposes, then proceeded to misspell my name before requesting my bank card details to "verify my identity". Became somewhat belligerent when I assured him that I was decidedly not going to give him my bank card details and claimed to be somewhat hurt that I would freely give these details to anyone except some random dude over the phone! Then called my wife back an hour later to try and extract the information from her.

June 2018 and they're using the same number for the same scams, playing with the guy... his goal is to get me to say "yes" which I won't do, everything except, and he hangs up on me. It's on the 'blocked' list bu they're still calling.

My auto reject feature is already filled up; not only that have I had to create a special contact to ignore these stupid numbers; plus to have the mobile app installed as well.

why don't these unsolicited callers harass people while they are working - don't they have anything better to do - than waste other people's time which is precious and also waste the credit on a pre-paid mobile.

Called and asked for me by name. Said they were from Citizen Benefit Services, selling funeral insurance. Not very impressed when I told them I wasn't interested and said I would receive a call from one of their managing marketer. I said no thanks and hung up. Number has been blocked!

This number has called me twice in two days. Each time the person has claimed to be a different company. They still call me despite me registering my number on the national do not call register. Must be an illegal operation. Did not like they knew my personal information. If they call back tomorrow they will get an ear full. I've flagged the number in my phone now.
