They call me about 5 times a week, but I never answer the phone. I have once and I couldn't even understand them

I got this number calling me 3 days in a row, have my mobile on silent so never answered. It is indeed Careflight. Just called the number back and a recorded message asks you to enter the phone number they called you on after the beep, and that it takes upto 48 hours to remove the number from their call list.

A lot of number starting with 8 are charities. They are allowed to cold call the are not affected by the "Do Not Call Register" I have a message on my machine that states I have Caller Line ID and if you are a charity I know what line they call in so will never answer and they may as well give up and if it was anyone else like family I would have picked up so I must not be home. It has actually cut down a lot of calls. If I get caught out I just say I am unemployed and don't have the money that usually back off real quick there.

How do you block a number?

Everyday they call, now I've blocked the number on my mobile.

Had a call from this number this morning. When I answered the phone it was silent and they promptly hung up on me.

It's care flight, I had yet again another missed call from them, I called back a few days ago, that's how I know who it is, there was a recorded message stating who they are and if I no longer want to get calls from them to put in my phone number, this could take up to 48 hours to take effect.... guess what? it's been OVER 48 hours and I'm still getting called :/

3-5 times a day for the past 3 weeks my phone has rang by this number, I don't answer calls I do not know anyway but my god they are a persistent pain in my ass!!

I must get at least 2 calls a day on my landline.... It's a telstra number also dunno who they are luckily I'm never home just shows on my missed call register!

i punched in my details a couple of weeks ago to be removed and they have started calling again daily! aaargh. over it

This number is from care flight. I have had several calls they will call until I answer. They tried to sell me the care bears. Asked her if they fund raise any other way such as media but she said that they only call people it is the best way to reach people. She briefly mentioned the web site but was more interested in selling the bears. There are other ways to support them and that is through their web site.

Fed up and am cancelling Telstra landline, just to shut these damned calls up!

Had a call from this number - answered and it was some guy from northern NSW who thought I had phoned him!! Bizarre. Anyway, we went our separate ways both rather puzzled by the whole affair. At least he didn't try to sell anything or solicit for charity...

I have received many calls from this number and then they hang up on me without asking anything or saying who they are .

They are driving me mad.......called me at 4.30am today
