Their name is Aegon Direct and Affinity Marketing Services (Australia), which is a direct arm of AEGON (life insurance, pensions and asset management). Their website is www.aegonmarketing.com.au if you'd like to discuss their use of your phone number direct to the source.I rang the (02) 8094 6405 number, where I was met by an answering machine that said, "Thanks for your call. One of our agents will respond by giving you a return call to this number." Of course, this is not so good if you called from a different phone as it probably adds a new number to their register. The pain starts all over again....The message then went on to offer their 1300 305 515 number for anyone wanting to talk further. I called that number and asked them to remove my number from their records.They said my number will be removed after 48 hours. I voiced my concern about the return call from their agent (triggered by attempting to call the 02 number). The operator said, "Sorry, but calls will only stop after 48 hours".

Had a few missed calls from this number- called it back it's an insurance company

I am also getting random hang up calls from this number. Started about a week or two ago. I get them every weekday afternoon, around 2pm. Calls only last a second or so before it cuts off.
