I got the same call as everyone but i actually answered, the guy on the phone said he was from NRMA and calling regarding my membership.

after i hung up with him i called the number back and got same msg as everyone.

I then called NRMA and they did veryphy they have an outbound team, and when they looked up my account they confirmed it was their north strathfield team that called me.

what a relief.

These people called me three times today when I was in lectures! GRRRRR!!! I don't care WHAT they were selling, I never buy anything from telemarketers.  It's like a feeding a stray dog, one bite and they keep coming back for more (except I like stray dogs, hate telemarketers and I couldn't think of a better analogy).

i have been called 3 days in a row now and it sucks cos im waiting to hear back from a job interview and quite confused who it is, i called this number (02) 8207 9000 and the woman said that they are for insurance ie:home, life etc for several companies, i then called the call center number she gave me and it as for comm insure (commmonwealth bank)...
hopefully they stop calling!!

yeah this number keeps on calling me. Today I decided to answer it and they just hung up. I wonder how did they get my number considering I don't have much registered under my name and my mobile. The calls just started when I've lost my phone and tried to activate the replacement sim card from Optus using the same number as my previous mobile. If it's legit, how come they would hang up as soon as you answer it?
