This is NRMA roadside assistance membership renewal.

Think its NRMA. I let my roadside assist lapse recently. Now they keep calling but when I answer there is no one there and it hangs up.

Starting to really annoy me NRMA. Will happily take all my policies elsewhere unless you stop harrassing me with numerous pointless phone calls!

This number called many times but I always missed it. When I finally answered they told me my NRMA roadside assistance membership expired a month ago, and wanted me to renew it over the phone by credit card. I suspect this is a scam because when I said I would do it online they were very unfriendly and tried to insist that I do it immediately over the phone. I then checked my NRMA membership online and I had just renewed it and it wasn't due to expire until 2014!

I think its from NRMA Membership renewal. I had roadside assistance with them but have recently let it lapse, hence the call.

Yeah this is NRMA. I recently let Roadside Assistance lapse too. They have called around 15 times, and never leave a voicemail message?

Same deal - being harassed up to 5 - 6 times a day from this number. I have let my NRMA lapse as my
new car came with this included. NRMA seems to be the common factor here so will be ringing them to tell them to have a word!

Nrma assist, same as all the above msg. Annoying will not stop calling.

Every time this number calls my mobile I answer within two rings and I get a hang up. Why?? Stop ringing me evryday if you are not going to talk to me.

NRMA obviously outsource overdue memberships to an external call centre, which most likely get paid per conversion, so they won't want you to ring NRMA and they won't want you to renew online.

Keep calling me and my family, must be scam if they don't leave a message and my renewal isn't until May, had sent me a text message a month back as well.

It makes sense if this is from NRMA as my membership has also just lapsed - have missed a number of calls lately but there is no voicemail left. Infuriating to keep missing calls without any idea who it might be!!! Could they not send an email, text or voicemail to clarify what is going on?

Yep, just received the call everyone is talking about here- I pick it up and it just hang up on me. I called back and sure enough I got a message box saying I have been called regarding NRMA and then they tell you to call back 131122.

Very annoying. What is the point of calling someone if you are going to hang up when they answer?

This number is for NRMA Roadside assistance. Strange that they asked what type of car I drove. I would have thought that would be something they would already know. Have Google Translator handy to understand the heavy accent.... :)

I have 5 missed calls but they accidentally left a message and the dumb chick behind the phone was talking to a guy about paper bagging it...
