why all the fuss jus pick the phone up and say hello answer yes or no is that hard to do???

I'm on the do not call register so was interested to see this.

Got the same thing, called my office but hung up when i answered...

I have been receiving calls from this number normally twice a day... I remember answering one a few weeks back and being hung up on and so I haven't answered it since. I'm with u guys about the Loan Insurance as I also received some paperwork on it in the mail recently. Is there any way we can stop these people calling us? I am already meant to be on the Do not call register but obviously they have found a loop hole. :/ annoyed!

Hi there all...I had exactly the same issue...3 times a day from the same number.I have spoken to someone from this company.Call the number (02) 8114 9700 and go through to 2Evolve call centre.I spoke to a guy called Kieren and he said that it is to do with Amnesty international - so if you've signed a petition or something like that in the last few months this would be why....I advised him I have not signed anything and want my number taken off the call cycle IMMEDIATELY!I would suggest ALL to call the above number & advise them this is happening.....Good luck all!

F**k that number and its company, I am in oversea and roaming my phone, don't want to pay for stupid calls.

I got the missed call from this number yesterday, no message, just want to check who called meThanks,

The number is a company called 2Evolve based out of the Sydney CBD.  They are paid by charities to raise funds from either existing supporters or new supporters and get them to donate on a regular monthly basis.  They call for charities including WSPA, Amnesty International, Child Fund, Save the Children, Royal Brisbane Childrens Hospital, Fred Hollows, Medicenes Sans Frontiers (Doctors without Borders), and ActionAid.  The turnover at this place is ridiculous with between 5-30 people starting and leaving each week.  When they call, pick up, threaten to sue if they dont take you off the list, this is the only way they will stop calling.
