I just had this call about 30 seconds ago, Told me they were from Telstra and hackers from Nigeria were hacking my IP address and I needed to talk to their senior officer or my internet would be cut off in 2 hours for 45 days. I knew it was bs so kept him on the line for 20 minutes contradicting everything he said. He eventually got sick of me and hung up. His name too was "Alexander Gomez"

alleges internet is compromised and I will lose my service for 6 months. Have some fun with the fools. Apparently the internet service is a wi fi router being used by international gangs.

Claiming to be Telstra wanting details of my device. Scam

Had a call today re an accident, but I said I didn't have an accident and the caller didn't seem to know what to say next. A few hours later had a call from "Telstra" regarding a problem with my internet....... played along for awhile, his name was Alexander Gomez & wanted me to start up my PC and he would talk me thru the problem. I said I was going out and could I ring him back later...... so they have this new number now that they are working from.
