Scam - robot call saying there is an arrest warrant out for my name and asking to take action.

why doesnt telstra shut this number down?

Called me and left the same message - Scam

Unknown left message that if I did not return call there would be an arrest warrant issued for me

Couldn’t understand a single word he said other than hello and how are you

Called around 1pm saying good afternoon then she spoke in a gorgeous language. After I said ‘sorry?’ She repeated and I realised that it wasn’t in English so I said ‘are you talking English’ and she said can you speak Hindi. When I said no she hung up in my face. I tried calling twice after but looks like she’s blocked me

Automated call claiming to be the ATO issuing a warrant for arrest and to call back.

I first got this message last week threatening me with an arrest warrant from a Singapore number and today from a local Sydney number

got the message, scared

These scammers should be locked up

had the same message

Guy saying that if I didn’t call him back I would be arrested. LOL.

Automated message told me "Arrest warrant out for my name."

SCAM LINE.

WHENEVER YOU GET A STRANGE CALL LIKE THIS, ASK THEM TO CONFIRM YOUR NAME AND HOW THEY GOT YOUR NUMBER AND NEVER GIVE AWAY PERSONAL DETAILS.

synthetic voice program leaves a message Contact Department Division (02) 8091 7391. "Now if we don't hear form you we have to issue an arrest warrat under your name and get you arrested. This issue is very time sensitive"
Quite a silly message. No mention of names or jurisdiction
When I called the number back there is no answer
I'm reporting it to the Telecommunications Ombudsman

Called and left a robot message. I didn't answer.I stopped the call without answering. It seemed like one of those canvassing calls
Voice mail message that was left :
"Contact on Department Division number (02) 8091 7391,repeat (02) 8091 7391 If we don't hear from you we have to issue and arrest warrant under your name and get you arrested. This issue is very time sensitive".

No mention of any names of people or jurisdiction which is all quite very stupid

Scammers I rang my tax agent she checked my tax was ok. I then rang the number and spoke to a Indian sounding dude. Who threatens me anyway I hanged up and googled the ATO number and rang them I guess if I owe money to someone they will know.
