a robocall saying this is from the tax office saying this is the final call to paying up paid tax press 1. this is a scam

same thing i got is from taxation office and asked me to pay a penalty

I got this call twice today. why this IVR, is this a scam? I did not press 1 and call hangs up.

That was an automatic message saying it is a final call from the taxation office due to violation tax, etc. It encouraged to choose an option 1 (press 1) to speak about it to avoid being arrested. Obviously, it was a scam.

have also received calls from this number saying I am behind in my tax payments and to call a phone number. Scam

I called back the number (02) 8091 7211 and reached vm that did not mention the company name
