The phone didn’t even ring but then there was a recorded message advising that an arrest warrant would be issued to me if I didn’t call them back immediately....idiots

Caller: claimed to be tax office

informed me to call back otherwise I would be arrested. sounds like suspicious to me

They claim to be from ATO
Scam alert for those who aren’t aware
Also easily angered by not giving them your full details.

I called back number (02) 8091 7134 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

The call back number from number was different from the phone number and when I tried it I was told the number was 'unavailable'.

I added this number to my contacts (02) 8091 7134) and then BLOCKED THEM!
