recorded ATO scam, got one or two of this every months, better blocked this number

absolute scam, tax office filing a "lawsuit" haha joke

An automated robotic voice machine claiming to be from ATO (Australian Taxation Office) threatening arrest unless payment is made. Well known scam as reported by main stream media. ATO has specifically said they do not threaten people over the phone especially with arrests.

the voice message says there a suitcase found in your name then call bla bla bla number to ATO.That s silliest scam I have ever heard!

Just got this, if they put some more thought into the recorded message it would be more believable "if you don't call us back we will have to come and arrest you"

I got a call from this number. It was a recorded message. The message was like calling from ATO and going to file case against me. I thought this was a scam call. Cut the call and blocked this number too.

Threatened arrest if no return call

They left an american robot voicemail threatening to arrest me if I didn't call back- definitely a scam, do not call them back and provide any private information!
