Caller: SCAM ALERT TAX DEPARTMENT THREAT AND ITS NOT THE TAX DEPARTMENT

So I got a call today from the so called TAX Department

They ask you then call (02) 8091 6176
Can we please swear on here . Yesterday, one of the TV Reporters spoke to them and they threatened her they literally threatened to rape her too. Maybe someone needs to stick a cucumber up the scammers butt so he can shut that mouth up. Something needs to be done. Our numbers by oh so many companies have been handed out to goodness knows where something needs to be done re privacy .

Caller: Voicemail

Scam. Computer voice said to call back urgently or I’m gonna go to prison.

Caller: A voice message

Same number except I didn't answer – I have smart calling on.

They left a recorded message saying that there is a lawsuit being filed against me, says to call back (02) 8006 9612. If not they will "Get me arrested" lol

Caller: No idea

I think I got the same scam call....ATO debt collection....its a scam

Recorded message with american tang purporting to be from tax office saying a law suit has been filed in my name. I hung up

Scam!! saying I ma going to be arrested if I don't call back immediately

Caller: SCAM - 'INVESTIGATIONS DEPARTMENT AT THE TAX OFFICE

I recieved a voicemail saying a lawsuit was being filed against me and to call back asap. He had quite a strong accent and said he was from the investigations department at the tax office. He asked me to confirm my name, then address, which I didn't, and I asked what it was about and if they can put it in writing, and he hung up on me.

I had the exact same automated message, They asked me to call a different number than what they called off. I didn't get the phone number. They threatened a law suit and to arrest me if they didn't hear back from me in 2 days. I called the Australian Tax Department and they confirmed it was a scam :) Be safe guys

I received a call today and a message stating I have a lawsuit against me. Asian accent so I kept asking them to repeat they hung up.

I also received a call today from this number saying there was a lawsuit against me and if I didn't contact them immediately, I would get arrested as there was a warrant for my arrest... Someone should block these people.
