Pushed straight into conversation doing a survey, asked questions like - total wages earned, home-owned or bank mortgage or rented, occupations, age bracket etc. Said someone would call back about tax deductions

A caller who identified himself as in Inda called to do a "survey" and asked me about what I think of my suburb. It was 9.30pm on Friday night. When i said his call was out side normal times, he said he pressed on with the survey. When I asked him who his client was he said Super Site in Burke St Melbourne. When I asked to speak to his supervisor he said thank you and hung up. I have had similar calls asking the same question in the past and refused to answer and asked not to be called again.

the Indian said he was calling from North Melbourne and a company called super site surveys, and that i could check the website (nothing). I challenged that an 02 number would not be from Melbourne. my standard on answering most questions is "none of your business" definitely spam time wasters

Same experiences as most listed - why would anyone in this day and age...volunteer any public or private details about ones self to an unknown voice on the other end of the phone? these dropkicks don't give up - easiest solution, block the number, problem solved - no more calls from these would be thieves...

I thought maybe legit coz its the first scammer to ring our number and actually tell you their 'company' name most refuse to give an answer if you ask who they work for. Still I just hang up every time anyway. Got so bad for us we had to change number and make it private, now its ONLY supersight who call

This is a front if you ask me for either porn or mafia. The address is a brand new building that is up for sale but no one ever goes into the building and the real estate agents reckon the tenants would like to stay on. They pay $14,000 a month in rent so they say. The phone numbers on their website - supersight - are always busy, I've even sent a fax saying to go away but they are always busy as well. The phone calls started in our area a few months ago and when they started so did the burglaries. My bet is it's a national crime network, they find our your info and your schedule from your calls, watch your house and break in for their 'cousins' back in mumbai who actually think they work for a legitimate company business. All the information and things they steal probably goes to terrorists. We just make fun of them or read the bible to them that always makes them hang up.

This is a scammer trying to get as much information out of you to use in future scams. They are pushy and keep asking for information even when you keep telling them you will not provide personal details to an unknown cold-caller. My suggestion..either hand up or have some fun messing with their heads!

The best way to stop them calling: - say the person at this number has just died, that you are a policeman investigating the death, that they are now a suspect because they called, and start asking them questions - who/where they are, name, address etc.
100% success rate guaranteed :)

this is why anyone with a jailbroken iphone should get iblacklist and add numbers such as this to it - when they try to get you again, all they'll hear is a busy signal and you won't even notice they've called.
