Caller: AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS AWARDS SCAM

Emails and calls with this number attached to it claiming to be part of the Australian Business Awards and asking our business to join a membership to be listed on their database for best businesses in Australia.

Rang the ATO – it's definitely a scam, do not answer or call them back!

Claims to be ATO and they are taking class action for fraud which you are named in

Received emails from a Steven Hoffman claiming to be from the Australian Business Awards informing us we had one an award. SCAM do not reply to emails from this address contact @ ausbusinessreview.com

FRAUD - claims to the the Australian Taxation Office investigations department, a man with an Indian accent named "Eric Foster" then asked for my name when I called back, and hung up on me when I insisted that they must already have my details if they rang me.

Had a call from this number (02) 8091 4064 claiming that they are taking legal action against me in tax fraud. I tried calling the number back but no one answered. Who do I report it to??

I let this once go to voicemail. Computer-generated voice saying something about "tax fraud". Definitely a scam

Automated message from a Tax Fraud scammer. "Investigating [me] and [my] family for tax fraud"

Requested me call (02) 8091 4502. Nor even enough sense to put in the proper area code.

Tax fraud scam call claiming to be ato investigating me and my family. Robotic voice message left

"Our Dept . (unsure what department is being referred to) is investigating you and your family for fraud..... burble, burble...."

Robotic voice. Obvious scam.

Claimed fraud with automated message. Tried to use my name from my voicemail. However, I didn't record a name. So the message is just "(silence), you are being investigated for fraud"

Definitely a scam

As above - claimed to be taking legal proceedings. I received 2 of these calls today both with automated voice messages.

Again Tax Fraud Scam. They have called me 4 times and I have reported it to the ATO
