An Indian woman rang me twice on different numbers to tell me there was illegal activity on my internet. She said it was the technical department of Telstra. I asked for the email address and she said there was not one. She gave me this number to talk to the head of department. I think it’s a scam

Caller: David Miller Caller was obviously an Indian. He provided an employee ID and the above number. I let him talk for a while but it was so clearly the lead- up to a scam I terminated the call.

Caller: Said he was from Telstra This person (I think he was an Indian) wanted me to download a program that would give him access to my computer. The program was not on a Telstra website. I think it is a scam.

An Indian male voice claiming to be from Telstra was trying to convince me I was downloading a virus every time I logged on. I said I would need to let my manager know and we would call him back. He provided this number that does not exist.
