The call is automated and rings the numbers numerically. I rang Telstra and they fixed the problem. Unfortunately I have had the phone changed from my husbands name into mine and the calls have started again

The number they rang is a private number, also on the Do Not Call Register.
I hung up as soon as I realised it was an automated Federal Govt. Survey.

This number rang over the weekend to our business number and left a recorded message in our inbox asking to do a survey. The recording was asking political questions. Lucky no one was here to answer it!

i was too slow to answer phone but No. was on caller ID. I have a silent number. how did they access this ?

Called my number and when I answered it was a voice recording in Spanish.

Recorded message re survey about the pending bi election in Redcliffe Qld. I didn't listen to any more rubbish and just hung up.

They just rang me and I got a prerecorded message that said "Hi, I'm ring on behalf of ...... research" I hung up.

Recorded message: Are you over 18 press 1, etc
some kind of survey?

Spoke in Asian then eastern European languages, then I hung up. The only English bit was something about the Public Trustee. Maybe it was a recording. Silent number.

Phoned on both silent number & registered number phone lines within seconds. Recorded message, spoke in an Asian language. How did they get silent phone number.
