Caller: (02) 6059 1455 with a ringback of (02) 8091 2409 Recorded message from NBN stating your internet will be disconnected within 24 hours as we haven't been able to contact you, press 1. Claiming to be Telstra Technical Department and that my service is clogging the network due to many malicious ,messages been sent. Once I heard this crud the call was ended.

Received an email scam - email was from Westpac to verify an attempted payment from Target in the thousands. The number to call to verify if it wasn't to happen is the (02) 8091 2409. Beware!

Didn't get a call from here but received an email allegedly from "The Westpac Team" quoting this number to call urgently about an unknown login to my Westpac online account. Obviously a scam as I do not have a Westpac account!

Caller: (02) 8091 2409 Said they were going to cut off phone and internet to commence NBN gave me a code and said they were receiving lots of malicious calls.

Just got called from this number. Same deal as other reports. When asked who she worked for, I just got “the technical department”. Telstra confirmed the call was not from them.

Caller: apparently Telstra NBN This is DEFINITELY A SCAM - do not let them into your computer They said my internet was about to be shut off because of NBN and people could see what i was doing online and my internet was unsafe. they wanted me to go to my computer ... i said that i felt they were a scam and they said just call the number you will see i am not, i called the proper telstra line and they confirmed it was a scam... dont be fooled!! they are very convincing

I believe that this number is a scammer. He decribes himself as being from Telstra, tells you your computer has been infected by hackers and that he hwill help you to clean up your machine. He then tells you that he will perform a transfer that you have to keep secret but he's doing it to help you. In actual fact the money comes from one of your own accounts and the bastard is robbing you blind.
