Just missed a call on this number, which left an incomplete voicemail message threatening a lawsuit for an unstated fraudulent act on my part. However no answer when I returned the call on the same number - so I'm suspecting a scam of some sort.

They left an automated voicemail stating the ATO had been trying to contact me about a fraud investigation and left a number to call them back. Scam!

I also just received a similar call from this number - became suspicious and said I would call back, she said the line would be busy so she'd call me back. Told her not to.

Fri 23 May 2014. Similar to above, this time as Alice Watson ID 003. Claimed to represent NETVIEWER, I stupidly opened computer, went, as instructed, to TEAMVIEWER, became suspicious when I couldn't see any Telstra association, didn't proceed. Reported matter to Telstra, Scamwatch (Federal Police option not yet taken). Checking all computer functions - hoping no problems. How did they catch me out? I was too busy doing other things to remember my usual response to strangers asking me to turn on my computer (get this matter out of the way in a hurry). Alert: Telstra does not monitor your emails, nor would any spy agency, nor would they reveal it to you if they did! I suggest, when you find out about any scam, you let everyone know - put notices at your work, library, doctor's, school. Tell others - don't be afraid of appearing foolish; your embarrassment and silence are what keeps these scum floating.

Just got a call from 'Nancy Watson' 105 Millers St, Nth Sydney NSW supposedly from Telstra with ID: AUS060LT and quite persistent that I have hackers from Africa using my internet and causing them problems. She is supposed to phone me back in an hour and in the meantime she said for me to not use my internet. I get these types of calls all the time and I usually tell them I know they're a scam. I usually have my answering machine on to deter these types of calls.

My parents just got this loser trying to tell them he was from Telstra and that someone from Africa is trying to access their internet. Was very persistant and rang back a number of times even though they shut him down. Criminal.
