Is this number part of Ebay motors Australia? Because i need to do transaction to pay someone.

likewise for Westpac - tonight - same scam

received a call from this number claiming to be NAB, they were advising there was a $700 payment they were holding for me and I had to call back within 15 mins or they wouldn't be able to hold it any longer. Called NAB and confirmed this is a scam.

Likewise for HSBC australia, same scam

This number rang to say that they were from CBA and that they had just spotted an unusual overseas transaction on my credit card. They wanted my CBA customer id so that they could verify they were talking to the correct person. The caller was very good and almost had me convinvinced that it was a genuine bank call, even being able to provide the first six digits of my credit card AND my current address. However when I asked him how many accounts I held with the bank he hung up. I phoned the CBAs 1300 number and they advised me that their was no issues with my account and this had been a scam call.

This number rang to say that they were from Westpac and had just stopped an unusual transaction on my credit card. Andcould they just check my card number to be sure. I asked for their number and then rang Westpac on the number on my statement. This number is a SCAM. DO NOT give them your card number.
