I don't answer ANY calls I don't recognise. I shortened my home messages ring time so they cant hang up early before message bank kicks in, they are paying for the calls that go to message bank. Been doing this for 2 years now. Think they would learn but nooooooo.
p.s. When nobody talks to you it is an automated call to see if you are home at that time.

This is getting ridiculous... I believe these scammers are now “hijacking” Australia telephone numbers and harassing Australians. Telstra admitted that these scammers have far superior technology that they are unable to stop this from happening. I am sick to death of the 2-3 calls I get a day from these freaks. I have a home business I can’t afford to let it go to voicemail, I feel like a hostage to my own phone that I PAY for???

My Wife keeps on Answering the Phone, and when she answers they just hangup. I rarely get phone calls so she generally answers the Phone. Perhaps next time I should answer the Phone. They sometimes call when we are out, BUT wont leave a Message.

Received a landline call and my sister answered and spoke for over an hour. I did not hear what she has told them but I know myself it is a scam. Over all these ridiculous phony calls. Always at evening or when they may think you are relaxing and will take the time to answer all their questions. Had a gutfull. Stop this Australian Government. Or whoever should be doing their job correctly.

just received a call from this number ,spent about a minute going hello and then got the hang up signal , and i'm on the do not call register , so over it

Called landline at 8.05pm - refuse to answer phone as I immediately google unknown numbers & of course read previous compaints. Am on do not call register - really am over these time wasters.

Called me tonight (20:28hrs on 30/1/18) and when I picked up they didn't speak, just sat there for around 15 seconds or so until I hung up.

I don't answer my phone anymore then check out the numbers and respond to the one I know the IDs, the rest...go to hell, Idiots parasites just drop dead we don't need that sort of... LOL.
