A few seconds of silence then they hung up. I don't usually bother answering my home phone as it is voip and came with my wifi subscription. I have never given anyone the number. Yet I get loads of calls from the likes of these twats!

May 14, 2019, hung up as soon as answer machine picked up the call, have had more than one call from them.

No message was left when this number called in the afternoon, so after checking the posts about the number online I blocked it. I saw that they'd tried again quite late in the evening even though they clearly hadn't wanted to speak to me earlier in the day. Sick and tired of the number of these calls and wish I could condemn the whole lot of them to perdition.

If you signed up to the Do Not Call Register, you will be aware that calls from charities, political parties and polling companies are, and always have been, permitted (within limits).

I now have my landline ported to my Vodafone mobile plan for only $5/mth (which beats Telstra's $30+/mth and I kept my number) on my iPhone and I then successfully add these callers to my block list and the phone does not ring again for these scammers. No one should ever be doing surveys because all they do is reap data that should remain private. You should also never call back a number you do not recognise because you could be charged a call-back fee.

our phone rang about 8pm on 15/5/19. picked up. No one spoke. Then my daughter let me know she also received call from same number about 8pm. picked up and no one spoke. are these unwanted nuisance callers trying to scare people?

Political survey

Received a call from this number, no one spoke. I am on the do not call register, I note that people have been complaining about this number for a long long time. So my question to whoever the hell is in charge, why the F___ hasn't this company been taken offline and people charged over this waste of time.

Get a Telstra Call Guardian phone and never have to put up with these f***wits again. It's bliss!

Caller: Tele Reach

Rang twice within 6 minutes. When I called the number they say it’s Tele Reach, a research company and give an email address, so I emailed saying remove my number but my email bounced back because their inbox is full. I then rang and left a message saying do not call me again. I’m on the Do Not Call Register and will report them next time to Telstra and the communications ombudsman. I had blocked the number but somehow it’s getting through the block

I have been contacted by these people before and I have told them, in no uncertain terms, that I do not want them to call me again - ever. It doesn't seem to get through to them and they continue calling.

I've blocked their number but it is obvious they have a great many number they use.

Caller: These wankers

We live in sad times when we don’t even answer unknown numbers anymore because of these scammers. I grew up in the 1980s where we had no way of knowing who was calling. We always answered without fear of being harassed because these arseholes didn’t exist back then.

These parasites call us on our VoIP lines which are connected to an answering machine 24/7 as we only use these lines for outgoing calls. We also are on the DNC register & have been for years.
The authorities need to be serious about these callers instead of doing nothing at all!!!

Rang twice tonight (I was out) machine logged the missed calls but no message so not legit also second call outside hours. Probably election surveying.

Iv had this number blocked on my mobile and yet they got my home number and it's not even listed they called at 7:30pm if It ain't family I get pissed at these damm research companies!! Always calling me on the mobile iv blocked over 100 numbers in the last 6 months and finally put my number on a no call register but yet they call the home wtf

As it has a NSW STD code I don't answer it as I don't know anyone living in NSW. It is annoying.
