This number is a scam they hang up when you answer

Not sure about other phones but on the Iphone just go to the number and press the little i symbol on the right hand side of the screen. There is a prompt on that page to block caller. Peace now.

As soon as I get a call from interstate I never answer it and google the number when I can, thank goodness for sites like these and for people like you reporting on these sites. I don't have anyone from interstate that would be calling me which is why I don't answer the call. I am on the do not call register and want to know how they get my number, my partner doesn't get calls like this and I get them every day and every day it is a new number....I just want it to stop!!!

After getting constant phone calls from this number, I lodged a complaint to the Do Not Call Register - apparently as it's MyCharitySurvey it's considered a charity so not available to block from the DNCR (can someone explain why we have a DNCR if we still get harassed by nuisance phone calls??? Anyway, so I emailed the MyCharitySurvey mob to ask them to stop calling us as it's borderline harassment getting called every single day. Their response - oh but we only called you twice in January (liars!!! as I received a phone call yesterday!) and then gave me a big guilt trip story about trying to gauge interest for donations etc for charities. I'm just putting this on here so people know they can contact this mob directly and ask for their phone number to be "suppressed". Hope this helps (and hope it stops these people from calling!)

Just got a call from MyCharitySurvey.com. Could clearly make out it was an overseas phone call but they route their number through (02) 8091 0101. They read their privacy disclaimer which sounded like they were going to share my information with other parties, when I questioned it they said you don't have to give any details as its my money and I don't have to commit it and being my decision (then why call me), so they went on with their speak another time, I said ok. Then they asked if I was a resident of Australia. I said no I'm visiting Aus on a holiday from India in an Inidan accent. They thanked me and disconnected. Now there is peace!

rings and hangs up constantly

Three calls in the last few days, hang up every time I answer my phone.

Supposed charity survey call.

You can block unwanted numbers by following the below method.
1) Save the unwanted number to your phone (do not save it to the sim card)
2) Select the contact and press the menu button.
3) Click Edit
4) You will have a tick box at the end of edit menu saying "block incoming calls". put a tick on the box.
5) Next time you get a call from that number it will straight go to your message box without ringing

I hope this will help many people who are being annoyed by these people

I am sick of these persons calling my number and not leaving a message. I do not answer the call but await for the voice message which never comes. How can I stop the harassment?

If it's my mobile server, then why did it come through on my landline - not even same company. I don't think you are correct.

Your all wrong, its your mobile server, every time you answer your charged for the call. Its the same when you get random numbers saying you have a missed call and when you call back they say they didn't call you, its your phone providers way of using up your credit. Its the same as when they sell your number to surveys and telemarketers, debt collectors...wake up.

Calling twice a day. Not answering thanks to this site

Keep calling all the time hanging up when I answered!!

They have left two voice messages from an automated voice saying there is a lawsuit being filed against you.. call back this number.

I agree, my phone is prepaid and I hardly use it - answered a couple of these calls, received a hang up and then next thing my phone is out of credit.

I will tear this person a new arsehole if they ever actually talk to me!!

This number has been calling me every day for the past week so far each time I answer they hang up on me. Dodgy idiots you'd think Telstra or what phone network this is cnnected to would cut their line. Annoying and frustrated
