Caller: Scammer Caller is definitely a scammer, I also received a missed call from this number with a message bank message left. I could tell a mile away the talking robot was a robot with an American accent.

Caller: (02) 8090 9329 As other caller - Robotic voice (American accent) claimed thery were calling from the ATO and had a warrant for my arrest. Told me to call back immediately on this number. I didn't.

Missed call from this number 4th Dec 2018. Called the number back & phone was answered by an Indian sounding voice saying it was the ATO. Immediately asked for my name so he could look up who it was that called.
Alarm bell that it was a scam was the ATO would reference people based on their TFN not their name (since there can be many people with the same name).
Refused to give name, mentioned I was aware of an ATO phone scam going around & said I would wait for the person who called me to to call back.

Scam caller, one of those fake “lawsuit cases” who want to issue an “arrest warrant”. Be careful, if you have any doubts about this number or this message, double check by googling the message contents and check the news – it has been in the media recently.
